Insiders reveal more details related to Hugh Jackman's alleged affair

While confirming their divorce in 2023, Jackman and Deborra told People magazine in a joint statement that their family would always remain a priority and are willing to move on with "gratitude, love, and kindness." The statement also read:

"We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives."

Before the reports of Hugh Jackman's affair with Sutton Foster went viral, the latter also separated from her husband Ted Griffin a month after Jackman and Deborra announced their divorce. A source for Page Six claimed at the time that Jackman and Foster were reportedly spending a lot of time together but preferred to keep the relationship away from public view.

As mentioned, Hugh and Sutton were featured together in The Music Man on Broadway between 2021 and 2023. The source additionally stated:

"They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together. They are still together. They go out of their way to hide it, but it's common knowledge."

However, new details on the rumored affair came out after an insider for Sky News claimed last month that Deborra-Lee Furness was suspicious of Hugh Jackman's relationship with Sutton Foster before their divorce. Similar claims were made by a source for Daily Mail at the same time, adding that the alleged affair was never hidden from Deborra. The insider then referred to Deborra by saying:

"She is not going to address this or speak against Hugh. When they divorced, they agreed to keep everything that happened during their marriage private."

Jackman and Deborra tied the knot in 1996 and the latter has various films and TV shows to her credit, including Evil Angels, Blessed, Special Squad, and Good Morning Australia.
