"You should've seen the look on Hitler's face": Katt Williams roasts Kanye West over rapper's antisemitic controversy
A comedic skit about Kanye West that was delivered by Katt Williams has gone viral online. Popular social media page The Art of Dialogue shared a snippet of one of the latter’s performances where he discussed the former’s antisemitic controversy. Ye has not addressed the trolling at the time of writing this article.
On October 21, The Art of Dialogue uploaded Katt Williams’ short skit about Kanye West to X. The tweet garnered over 70,000 views at the time of writing this article. However, which show the clip was taken from remains unknown.
In the same, Katt Williams seemingly sympathized with Kanye West by saying that “they broke that n**ga in front of us.” He said in his skit:
“They threw Kanye’s wax figure out of the wax museum. Let me say that again, they threw his wax figure the f**k out of the wax museum! And left Hitler’s in there. You should have seen the look on Hitler’s face! They broke that n**ga! It’s terrible what happened to that man.”
Madame Tussauds removed Kanye West’s wax figure from their historic museum in October 2022. This comes after the singer’s controversial political moments that included him wearing a “White Lives Matter” t-shirt, and his anti-Semitic comments that he posted on X.
Katt Williams addresses Kanye West being dropped by Sketchers and Goodwill in skit
While discussing how Kanye West was “broken” by the public and the media, Katt Williams discussed West being removed from a Sketchers shoe outlet. In October 2022, Sketchers revealed that Ye showed up to Manhattan Beach offices “without invitation,” leading to him being subsequently escorted out of the property.
Why the Carnival crooner made a visit to the company’s office remains unknown as of now. The aforementioned organization is not the only one to distance themselves from Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband, but Adidas and Foot Locker, among many others, ended their relationship with Ye following his antisemitic comments controversy.
In Katt Williams’ comedy skit, he also said:
“Goodwill said, let me say that again, that has never been said in history, Goodwill said that they will no longer be accepting any Yeezy merchandise of any kind. Now remember, Goodwill take trash. They going to look in the trash to take the Yeezy out?”
In October 2022, Goodwill said in a memo sent to various stores that they would not be accepting any products related to Ye as they were “sensitive to current events.”
This is not the only time Katt Williams has spoken about the controversial rapper. In an interview with Shannon Sharpe back in January 2024, Williams likened West to a person with “mental illness.”
He also elaborated by saying that he does not “support or villainize” the Flashing Lights rapper, as he believed that he was battling mental health struggles with people playing into his beliefs. Williams said:
“What are we reacting to? You are the one that put him in a position where he thought he was God and could call himself Yeezus. You’re the one that told the guy that writes musical lyrics that he was a genius.”
Katt Williams’ Kanye West skit went viral after the latter tweeted that he would go “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.” He also said in an interview with Alex Jones in December 2022 that he saw good in Hitler. West said:
“Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler… [Nazis] did good things too.. There’s a lot of things that I love about Hitler.”
West has since apologized for his antisemitic rhetoric and has also seemingly reentered the music industry with his Carnival hit track, which appears on his collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures 2.
