"She'd burst into flames if she said it" — Internet reacts to Kick Streamer BigLoaaf trying to get Rick Owens' wife to say "God is Good"
On November 18, 2024, an X user shared a video of Kick streamer BigLoaaf confronting designer Rick Owens' wife Michele Lamy. In the video, the Kick streamer asked Lamy to say "God is Good, God is so Good". The 80-year-old designer refused to repeat his words and walked away.
Further in the video, BigLoaaf confronts Rick Owens' wife again and asks her to say the same thing. However, the streamer is stopped by Lamy's staff member asking him to stop bothering her.
As this video gained traction, many people were quick to react to the video and express their opinions via X. Commenting on Michele's reaction, an X user wrote:

According to Dazed, Rick Owens visited Beijing's Forbidden City on October 15, 2024, with his wife Michele Lamy. Steven Raj Bhaskaran and Hannah Rose Dalton, the founders of the Montreal-based brand Fecal Matter joined them.
Shortly after entering the Forbidden City, all four were asked to leave because their clothing was inappropriate. Steven Raj Bhaskaran and Hannah Rose Dalton took to their Instagram story stating that the moment they got kicked out of Forbidden City was "really intense" for them.
The duo also mentioned that they were asked to remove their makeup and change into other clothes to enter the heritage site. However, Rick Owens and others refused to do the same as they attached their self-expression and identity to their fashion.
Additionally, the Beijing Daily published a piece stating that Rick Owens and others with him did not respect Chinese history and culture, hence their removal was reasonable. As per Dazed, the newspaper stated:
“Owens and his entourage were dressed in ‘dark and strange’ attire, and in fact attracted frequent stares from passers-by.”
