"I'm not taking this fight lightly" : Amir Khan on his bout with Billy Dib
Khan had originally been set to face Neeraj Goyat, but the Indian fighter pulled out after suffering head, face and arm injuries in a car crash at the end of June.
Dib of Australia, who had announced his retirement from the sport last year, stepped in to replace Goyat, moving up three weight divisions to take on Khan at welterweight.
Khan's last fight came at Madison Square Garden in New York in April, when he was beaten in six rounds by Terence Crawford following an accidental low blow.
The Briton is hoping a win over Dib on Friday will lead to a long-awaited bout with Manny Pacquiao, and he also hopes to increase the popularity of the sport in Saudi Arabia.
