At the Double or Nothing Rally for All Elite Wrestling last month, the new promotion revealed several things about what fans can expect to see. Several wrestlers appeared such as members of the Elite, MJF, Joey Janela, Penelope Ford, Britt Baker, and Pac.
Another announcement involved revealing working relationships with wrestling companies all around the world. OWE (Oriental Wrestling Entertainment) in China was mentioned as a partner for future endeavors, so perhaps other promotions might be revealed.
They also mentioned the date for Double or Nothing in May as well as how they intend to make themselves stand out from other promotions. Brandi Rhodes mentioned their intention to have the strongest women's division around.
Since they are still negotiating a deal for TV distribution, that was not addressed. But since there are several things that could be announced on February 7th, just what will be announced at the ticket rally? Here are a few things that could be we might soon know about All Elite Wrestling's future.
#5 New talent acquisitions
At the Double or Nothing rally last month, several AEW signings were introduced to the public. Among the names were Penelope Ford, Joey Janela, Chris Jericho, Pac, Britt Baker, and Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
Since that rally, AEW has signed even more talent including Jungle Boy as well as rumored signings of Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Beretta), Kylie Rae, Bea Priestley, Sammy Guevara, and the Lucha Brothers.
Introducing the talent to the public will help put even more of a face on some of the promotion's wrestlers who are lesser known to the public. Showing the talent that they've acquired gives fans the sense that All Elite Wrestling means business when they said they want to change the landscape of wrestling.
Having billionaires backing them at least allows the members of the Elite to truly pursue some of the best talents in the world that aren't bound by a full-time contract.
Who else might show up that hasn't already been announced as signing with the young wrestling promotion?
