What could this mean for AEW and Bar Wrestling?

What's the story?

The wrestling world was shaken to its core on January 1st when All Elite Wrestling was announced, but the promotion is still shrouded in mystery.

But that isn't stopping The Elite from grabbing headlines with their every move - and they did just that with an invasion of Bar Wrestling in LA, and Cody hinted that they're not stopping there!

In case you didn't know...

At the turn of the year, after several months of teasing, The Elite officially confirmed new promotion AEW, with Cody Rhodes, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Hangman Page, and Brandi Rhodes signing instantly, and exclusively, to the promotion they'll build after the success of ALL IN, and a slew of other stars joining.

At their Double or Nothing Rally last week, AEW unveiled Chris Jericho and PAC as new members of their roster among others, and confirmed more details of the promotion.

The heart of the matter

At Bar Wrestling in Los Angeles, the intimate crowd got the shock of their lives as The Elite surprised everyone by invading the show. Cody Rhodes even dived over the top rope while wearing a suit!

At the end of the show, Cody, Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Adam Page, SCU and Joey Ryan stood tall while Cody donned a vest with "The Elite: Change The World" on the back.

Rhodes later hinted on Twitter that more invasions may be coming ahead of AEW's official launch.

Eagle-eyed readers may have noticed two names paired together there who don't see eye to eye. Well, it seems that Adam Page and Joey Ryan have buried the hatchet too.
