What's the story

Needless to say, there has been much speculation as to what move or moves Cody Rhodes and his Elite comrades will be making next following their departure from Ring of Honor wrestling. Today, we may have been given an early Christmas gift from Cody. Did he just confirm the birth of All Elite Wrestling?

In case you didn't know...

Cody Rhodes, along with The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and "Hangman" Adam Page departed Ring of Honor wrestling following their final matches at Final Battle 2018. Cody Rhodes failed to capture the Ring of Honor World Championship from rival Jay Lethal in a stunning championship match-up. After the event, "The Elite" took the time to give thanks to Ring of Honor wrestling, the fans, and so on, confirming their departure from the organization.

The heart of the matter

During the latest installment of their YouTube series: "Being the Elite". The group reflects back on their highs and lows of 2018. Cody Rhodes, at right around the 11-minute timecode, gives us a very strong indication and possible confirmation, that we may be seeing the debut of All Elite Wrestling in the near future.

"I just want to thank everybody. Every fan that I didn't meet. This has been the best year of my career and I know a lot of people think what we're getting ready to do is a big gamble. Some people think it's very stupid. I'm not filled with false hope. You (the fans) have given me real hope. That's what it takes for a revolution."
