Ring of Honor Rumors: The line up for Supercard of Honor has been reported; it will air on IPPV for the first time

Supercard of Honor always takes place on WrestleMania weekend in the same vicinity...

What’s the story?

The complete card for the upcoming Supercard of Honor show has been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider. Additionally, PWInsider reported that the show would be aired live for the first time on IPPV and the Fite App.  Check out the card below:

In case you didn’t know...

Supercard of Honor is always held during WrestleMania weekend.  This year it is in Lakeland, FL; which is on the outskirts of Orlando. These shows were never aired live, and you could only see them by purchasing the DVD’s if you weren’t in attendance.

The heart of the matter...

The following is the lineup for the Supercard of Honor Show:

#1 ROH Tag Team champions Matt and Jeff Hardy vs. The Young Bucks in a Ladder Match.

#2 ROH champion Christopher Daniels vs. Dalton Castle

#3 Cody Rhodes vs. Jay Lethal - Texas Bullrope Match.

#4 ROH TV champ Marty Scurll vs. Adam Cole.

#5 ROH Six Man Tag Team champions The Briscoes & Bully Ray vs. The Guerrillas of Destiny & Hangman Page.

#6 Will Ospreay & Volador Jr vs. Dragon Lee & Jay White.

#7 Kazarian vs. Punishment Martinez.

#8 Matt Taven & Vinny Marseglia vs. Beer City Bruiser & Silas Young.

This show is being telecast because of the popularity of the feud between the Hardyz and the Young Bucks. The card itself is set up to be a very entertaining show. We’ll also get to see the first title defence of Christopher Daniels, following the first world championship victory of his 24-year career.

What’s next?

Supercard of Honor is just around the corner, and it will take place on April 1st, the night before WrestleMania.  It will be $29.99 and can be ordered by going to www.fite.tv or www.ROHwrestling.com.

The pay per view coverage will start at 6:30 eastern; which means you should be able to watch both Supercard of Honor and NXT Takeover: Orlando if you’re interested in both shows.

Author’s Take

It was awesome of Ring Of Honor to listen to its fans and make the show available live for the first time.  The ladder match with the Hardy’s and Bucks is going to be a classic and could be the last appearance in Ring Of Honor for the Hardy’s as they’re rumoured to go to the WWE.

On top of that, the feud between Cody and Jay Lethal has been great as well. At Final Battle last December, we thought it would be a respectful battle, but Cody resorted to a low blow and disgraced Ring Of Honor.  Not long after, Cody joined the Bullet Club.
