In Case You Didn’t Know…
The whole Transformers craze began back in the summer of 2007 when “Bad Boys” and “Pearl Harbor” director Michael Bay introduced the world to the Autobots. Since then, five movies have been spawned from the popular cartoon character with Bumblebee counting as the six entry of the franchise.
According to IMDB, a war raged between the Autobots – which is led by Optimus Prime – and the Decepticons – which is led by Megatron – for the control over the AllSpark on Cybertron, which was a mystical talisman that could grant unlimited power to whoever possessed it.
A century later, Sam Witwicky discovers Bumblebee, who’s an autobot who’s in disguise to protect Spike; however, Decepticons Blackout and Scorponok are also on planet earth and the battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons starts over between the Transformers, with Sam Witwicky, the military, and the entire planet caught in the middle.
The origin story of Bumblebee focuses on the events prior to the first film, Hailee Steinfeld plays Charlie, a regular girl in a small California town unsure of her place in the world after her father tragically dies in 1987.
Charlie discovers one of the autobots, Bumblebee, who's battle-scarred and broken. Together, Charlie and Bumblebee set out on an adventure to realize their purpose in the world.
The Heart of the matter
Stars John Cena and Haliee Steinfeld go onto the Graham Norton show to promote the new film and of course, the host has some fun with the former WWE champion being a wrestler and the two actors discuss the premise of the movie, along with a clip from the actual film being shown to the audience.
What’s Next?
Bumblebee will premiere in theaters on December 21st. The former WWE champion has confirmed that he will return for the road to WrestleMania 35, though there’s not much speculation on who Cena will be facing at the grandest stage of them all at the moment.
It's been reported that Cena will be part of a WWE Live Event at Long Island, New York on December 27, 2018 as he'll be a guest on Miz TV.
