ROH/Indy News: Cody Rhodes talks about Dusty Rhodes' influence, the Bullet Club, and his 'All In' event
What’s the story?
Former Ring of Honor World Champion Cody Rhodes was recently interviewed by Hollywood Life where he spoke about his upcoming 'All In' event, the Bullet Club, and his father Dusty Rhodes’ influence on his career.
In case you didn’t know…
Dusty Rhodes’ younger son Cody, is a former WWE superstar and current member of the world’s hottest faction the Bullet Club. Rhodes is a former 6-time WWE Tag Team Champion and is also a former Intercontinental Champion. However, ever since departing from the WWE, The American Nightmare has made a huge impact on the wrestling world, winning the Northeast Wrestling Championship, the GFW Next Gen Championship, the WCPW Internet Championship and most importantly the ROH World Championship.
Cody Rhodes has also announced that he is all set to host the first-ever self-financed Indy show, later this year, entitled ‘All In’. Rhodes, along with his Bullet Club buddies Matt and Nick Jackson have come up with this initiative.

During Cody’s interview with Hollywood Life, he opened about a lot of topics including his legendary father, the late great Dusty Rhodes. Here are a few highlights from Rhodes’ interview:
The status of the 'All In' event and the reception it has received:
Cody stated that the event’s planning is currently headed towards the positive direction and the former ROH World Champion has been blown away with all the help he has received so far.
“The sentiment from my world—from the wrestling world—just blew me away in terms of getting help, how can they help, how we can make it something different than anything anyone has ever seen before and what is the direction that it will go.”- Rhodes stated.
On Dusty Rhodes’ influence:
The American Nightmare said that, ever since his birth he has learned and picked up a lot from his father, ‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes, till the death of his father. Additionally, Cody also said that he gets to apply all of Dusty’s lessons in his life now and claims that his father was completely fearless, and it is something which has stuck with Cody.
“It had nothing to do with the money. He was just fearless.”- Cody added.
Bullet Club in 2018:
Cody believes that in 2018 he along with his BC stablemates have to keep up the Bullet Club trend that has swept up the wrestling world. Furthermore, Cody said that the ‘All In’ event, in particular, is his baby and his project, which he is just excited to get off the ground.
What’s next?
The All In show is scheduled to take place later this year, on the 1st of September and apparently, it is scheduled to take place in the city of Chicago, Illinois.

It is almost amazing to see how successful Cody has been ever since departing from the WWE. The American Nightmare has made a huge impact on the wrestling world, Ring of Honor in particular and there is also no doubt that his show ‘All In’ is going to be a huge success.
