UFC champ Khabib says Fury is number one boxing heavyweight

The reigning UFC Lightweight Champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, said on Wednesday that he rates Britain's Tyson Fury as the world's best heavyweight boxer and that he is open to a bout with the retired Canadian legend Georges St-Pierre.

St-Pierre became only the fourth fighter in UFC history to be a multi-division champion but there have been suggestions that the 38 year-old could be prepared to come out of retirement to face Nurmagomedov.

Speaking after a press conference in London ahead of his title defence against interim UFC Lightweight Champion, Dustin Poirier, in early September, Nurmagomedov said that UFC was also better than boxing in bringing together its major stars to fight each other.
