#5 His father is the 217th wealthiest man in the world, valued at USD 6.4 billion
Tony Khan is not the only member of his family who's spearheading the AEW business. His father Shahid 'Shad' Khan is the primary sponsor for the venture, and the Pakistani-American billionaire has quite an astounding story of his own. Let's take a look at the legendary businessman.
Shad Khan was born in Pakistan and moved to the United States in 1967. He had humble beginnings in the country, washing dishes to earn a living. Khan then started working at an automotive company called Flex-N-Gate, ultimately rising up the ranks and acquiring it.
Khan would then make a foray into the sporting world and earn his stripes there. He was on the cover of Forbes in 2012 and associated with what we've come to know as 'The American Dream'.
