Both the enemy configurations and the characters you choose have bearings on how difficult a stage will be. Most waves consist of hordes of basic enemies, who can be defeated easily with a decently leveled team. Boss-level enemies, which are typically reserved for the end of the level, require you to pull out all the stops by deploying several units at once.

You can upgrade units mid-battle using Cash earned by defeating enemies. All units can be upgraded a few times before reaching the max level, which unlocks their maximum potential. By the time you reach the final boss, you will have maxed out every party member and will be ready to tackle the formidable foe.

Clearing a stage grants you in-game money, Gems, XP, and other items like Trait Crystals and Capsules.

Tower Defense Experience: This game takes cues from classic Roblox tower defense experiences to craft its own. It offers one starter unit at the beginning of the game, after which you can expand your collection through summons. These units can all be used in stages for various purposes like attacking, supporting, or earning Cash.
Summoning: You can use Gems to perform summons at the Summon station. Each summon costs 50 Gems, and you have the option to roll up to 10 units at once using 500 Gems. Currently, you can acquire Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, Shiny, and Secret units in the game.
Story: The Story mode is where you will spend most of the early game, being the tutorial and a good way to earn extra resources. This is a guided tour of the experience, giving you a good grasp of what to expect from the more difficult modes.
Challenge: Explore the Challenge mode for enemy configurations with higher difficulty settings and greater rewards. Your party must be strong enough to take these on and the more difficult a challenge, the better the reward. Other modes like Raid mode will be available in the game soon.
Unit Improvement: There are several ways to improve your units, such as Stat Rerolls, Trait Rerolls, Evolutions, and more. Each of these requires a unique resource, demanding you to explore the various stages of the game and grind them out. Maximizing the stats of your units can trivialize most enemy encounters in the game, allowing you to breeze through the stages with no effort.
In-game Shop: Explore the in-game shop to purchase upgrade materials, keys, Trait Crystals, and more using Gold, the main in-game currency. You can also buy premium items using Robux to make the experience easier and smoother to progress through.
