BedWars Reboot Update patch notes
BedWars, the team-versus-team experience with Minecraft-inspired art design, recently winded down the Halloween Event 2024. Following the celebration of All Hallow’s Eve, the game received the Reboot Update, preparing the experience for a complete revamp. Starting with the update on November 8, 2024, the title will receive continuous major updates to overhaul the core gameplay systems while preserving its QoL aspects.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Reboot Update for BedWars.
Everything new in BedWars Reboot Update
Overhaul preparations and Block Regen
Being the first of many overhaul-centric updates, the Reboot Update primarily serves to alter some of the fundamental mechanics of the game. The idea is to reintroduce these aspects slowly and give players time to get accustomed to the new elements while retaining the important familiar ones.
Here’s a list of adjustments introduced with the Reboot Update:
- Removed pre-game voting for maps and mechanics.
- Team Upgrade System has been rolled back to the system used before Season 9: Armor, Damage, Team Gen, and Diamond Gen.
- Enchant tables can once again be repaired.
- Enchant timer has been removed; enchants will only be removed on death.
- Enchant tiers have been scrapped and enchants have been rebalanced to be at tier 2 strength.
- Enchant research types have been removed. Every enchant now costs two Emeralds to roll.
- Learned Enchants feature has been removed.
- Fortune and Chaos enchants have been removed.
- Removed Pumpkin Patch (Squads) and Pumpkin Manor (Squads) maps.
Blocks placed by the players will regenerate to full health after 10 seconds of not taking any damage. Players may also purchase the repair tool for 20 Iron to hasten the repair process.
Free Kits of the Week, LTM Rotation, Raven Cinematic, and Limited Buddy
Four Kits have been added to the Free Kits of the Week pool: Conqueror, Eldertree, Flora, and Yeti. Flora is unlocked at level 20, so be sure to increase your level as quickly as possible.
This week’s LTM selection has been updated, reintroducing the Bed Royale mode and adding the Disasters mode. These LTMs are replacing the Halloween Event-exclusive mode, Arachne’s Lair, and the Infected Mode.
The game has prepared and released a new cinematic for the Raven Kit, titled The Cage, on the official BedWars YouTube channel. Accompanying this addition is the Limited Raven Kit Buddy shoulder accessory. As of writing this article, the shoulder accessory is already sold out and there are no other official sources of obtaining it. Should you wish to obtain this collectible, you must contact someone willing to trade the item.
Furthermore, a new lore page was added as well: Silas: The Weight of Honor - Last Stand.
