Overview

The Volcano world is a map full of active volcanoes, lava, and heat-themed perils that you must try to avoid during exploration. Threats are present at every turn and your pet dragon will be susceptible to fainting if it takes too much damage. The Volcano world is accessible from all the other worlds through the World Portal.

Being fourth in the order of worlds to explore, it is recommended to be around level 6 or 7 when traversing the region. This keeps your pet’s HP pool high enough not to require frequent healing stops or revivals. Furthermore, common enemies and bosses alike will be no problem to handle while around or above this level threshold.

There are two ways of obtaining the regional egg, known as the Volcanic Egg: through fixed spawns and through the Observatory. You can purchase eggs at the Observatory for 1,250 Coins, which should be no problem at this stage of the game. Hatch these eggs to receive one of the four dragon species native to the world: Bizaltidath, Venu, Numine, and Magmip. They have a 10%, 25%, 50%, and 15% hatch chance, respectively.

One of the most unique aspects of the Volcano world is its weather effects system. Every once in a while, one of two effects may trigger, causing a shift in the state of the map. The first is Eruption, which causes the massive volcano to erupt and send molten rocks showering across the region. Each rock has an active hitbox and will severely damage your pet, making it imperative to keep moving or seek shelter.

The other effect is Firenado, which spawns in the flat magma regions. Being caught in a Firenado will cause continuous burn damage that ends with you and your pet being shot across the region.

Like the other regions, the completion checklist for the volcanic lands includes opening four Chests, completing six World Missions, and taking down the regional boss.

As is the standard with most worlds, the Volcano world features three common enemies. These are all fire-themed, befitting their native lands, and drop Ashes, Bacon, and Meat alongside EXP when defeated. The three enemy types include Gargoyles, Elementals, and Salamanders.

The World Boss can be accessed through the portal at the end of the bridge that juts out of the largest volcano. It is a fiery beast that uses lava-based attacks across its three attacking phases.

Defeating the enemy grants you access to the guaranteed reward of 1,000 Coins and EXP, along with a few RNG-based prizes. The additional prizes may include Golden Fruits, Potions, Bacon, Revival Hearts, Bandages, and more.
