Featuring several Elements to try out in battle, this experience encourages and rewards experimentation.
Here’s how you can get started with Elemental Grounds.
Getting started with Elemental Grounds
Overview
Elemental Grounds mainly focuses on the Element you choose at the beginning of the game, which dictates your moveset. By default, you are given a basic punch-focused moveset, which expands with each level in your current Element. As you level up, the skills you have access to become stronger as well.
The game features no less than 18 distinct Elements, which have variants that alter their base stats. Players can use Spins to obtain one of these Elements and receive combat abilities according to their rolls.
Elements are also segregated based on rarity, with some being more likely to show up in your rolls than others. Among the most common Elements are Earth Water, Wind, and Builder, while the rarest include Dark, Time, Multielemental, and Mechanization.
Once you have settled on an Element, venture into the open world and accept quests to earn rewards and obtain new abilities in the process.

Gameplay mechanics
- Open World Adventure: Like a typical RPG, Elemental Grounds lets you roam the open world and take on enemies of various sizes and strengths. You can defeat them to earn XP and level up, gather resources, and interact with the NPCs that populate the world. Quests can also help you gather valuable prizes that help you out in combat or earn Spins.
- Elements: Several Elements in the game dictate your combat style, and each is governed by four stats: Multiplier, Defense, Handling, and Damage. Of the four, Damage is the easiest to explain, being the value that indicates how much damage you deal. Multiplier adds a multiplier to your damage and defense; Handling handles cooldowns, range, accuracy, and cast time; and Defense helps reduce incoming damage.
- Spins: You can perform Spins by collecting them from quests, daily quests, level-ups, Spin crystals, AFK Grounds, and Gang Capture Zones. Spins allow you to reassign your Race and Element through the Race Spins and Magic Spins menus, directly impacting your abilities and combat prowess. You may also try to fish for a special Crystal type through a Crystal Spin. On occasion, you can perform a special Spin type called Resonated Spin, which grants you access to more powerful variants of the basic Elements.
- Crystals: Crystals are special resources that can be used to obtain various resources, depending on their type. Currently, there are five Crystal types in the game: Experience, Spin, Resonated Spin, Aura, and Stat. The respective resources are obtained the moment you pick them up.
- Races: The game includes 10 races, each possessing unique abilities and skills. These can be reassigned at any time using a Race Spin and like Elements, each race has a different pull rate.
- Quests: Quests are fairly straightforward in nature: speak to a quest-giver NPC and accept the mission. Typically, these are kill quests, requiring you to defeat a particular enemy or a horde of the same. Completing them gives you a myriad of rewards, such as Spins, Cash, and weapons.
- In-game Shop: The in-game Shop includes non-essential items that help you progress through the experience at a quicker pace. Premium products include ability slots, experience multipliers, game passes, Spins, and more.
