The celebration added various spooky elements to the game, including a new currency type known as Candy. The process of collecting Candy in Baddies is reminiscent of Trick or Treating, where children would approach homes and receive candy in return.
To obtain Candy, approach the houses scattered across the city and ring the doorbell using the B key on your keyboard when prompted. Once the inhabitant comes out of the house, they have a chance of doing one of two things: give you Candy or attack you.
Should the inhabitant assault you, we recommend running away to reset their aggro. The reason behind this is that if you return and ring their doorbell again, there is a chance they will give you Candy without being aggressive. Of course, this isn’t guaranteed, so you may want to move to a different house if the inhabitant seems to be in a particularly nasty mood.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the prompt to ring the doorbell may not appear on all the houses. This is because the doorbell is deactivated for the houses that have their front doors unlocked.
An easy way to check if the doorbell interface would work or not is to attempt to enter the house. If you can approach the door and open it, you won’t find any Candy in the house.
However, should you encounter an invisible wall that prevents you from approaching the front door, you can use the doorbell to try and get Candy.

The primary use of Candy in Baddies is to take part in Spooky Spins, a limited event where you can roll for a random item.
