Jujutsu Shenanigans is an arena fighter with an emphasis on complex combo execution where the skill floor is low, but the ceiling is quite high. One of its newest fighters is Perfection, a character based on Mahito from Jujutsu Kaisen. This fighter’s play style focuses on shattering the opponent’s guard and setting them up for high-damage moves, making him an ideal pick to counter defensive play.

Breaking down Perfection in Jujutsu Shenanigans

Overview

In Jujutsu Shenanigans, Perfection’s moveset focuses on close-range moves that break the opponent’s guard, making him a rushdown-style character. His skills emphasize belligerently pursuing the targeted player until they are defeated, incentivizing offense at every turn, and setting them up for high-damage combos.

Perfection can fill his Awakening gauge by keeping the offensive pressure up. Once full, he can unleash Essence of the Soul, summoning two spirits to increase his offensive prowess. You can activate this move by pressing G with the Awakening gauge filled, triggering a cutscene where the character summons the aforementioned apparitions.

If you manage to hit the opponent thrice with Black Flash while in Awakening Mode, you can press G again to awaken a second time. Another cutscene triggers upon achieving this, morphing your avatar once more and unlocking the Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing. Your moveset receives another augmentation and your stats improve immensely while in this form.

Base moveset

Perfection’s basic moveset includes a four-hit normal attack combo (M1s), four skills, and two Awakening modes. The skills can be activated using the corresponding number key (1-4), with certain moves having augmentations based on the situation or the buttons pressed.

Stockpile: Use two hammers to smack the opponent.
Stockpile (Variant): Jump and use the two hammers to slam the opponent down.
Soul Fire: Short-ranged projectile attack.
Focus Strike: Punch a target with cursed energy to push them back.
Focus Strike (Variant): Use the move twice to make the attack unblockable and send the target flying.
Body Repel: Send a destructive projectile forward to ravage the opponent.
Body Repel (Variant): Activate Focus Strike during this move’s charge-up to modify the projectile. Ride inside the Body Repel move and send the opponent flying with the attack.

Perfection can also use Blade and Club modes using R, which modify his moveset slightly. For one, Blade mode alters Focus Strike, creating a three-hit combo that launches the opponent upward. The other alteration they make is the dash (Q), which changes to a forward slice or an AoE spinning strike for the Blade and Club modes, respectively.

Awakening moveset

Once the Awakening gauge is full, press G to access the Essence of the Soul transformation, gaining access to various new skills. Perfection's M1s remain the same but gain more power while in this transformation.

While Awakened, he gains access to the following moves in Jujutsu Shenanigans:

Idle Transfiguration: Lunge towards the opponent and land a massive haymaker. Triggers a unique death animation if used to kill an opponent.
Body Disfigure: Dropkick the opponent after transforming your feet into horse hooves. Follows up with an additional attack if the move lands.
Body Disfigure (Variant): Accessible in Blade Mode only. Rise up into the air using tendrils and destroy everything ahead while moving forward.
Spike Wrath: Pick up a target while advancing and slam them into the ground.
Domain Expansion: Self-Embodiment of Perfection: Perfection’s ultimate move. Creates a unique domain that drains the affected entity, indicated by a purple bar. If the bar depletes completely, the opponent will explode, killing them instantly.

You can also press G for a special lunging attack known as Black Flash. Landing Black Flash thrice builds up the Super Awakening gauge completely, giving you access to the Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing mode.

Even without the second transformation, Perfection is powerful enough in this state. Some of his attacks, such as Black Flash, are quite difficult to land, but they are immensely rewarding. This makes them worth the risk of leaving yourself open to counterattacks.

Super Awakening moveset

With the second Awakening gauge fully built up, access the Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing mode by pressing G. This gives Perfection another set of moves that are more powerful and destructive than anything else in his moveset. Some of these can be quite difficult to avoid, which is why the second Awakening mode does not last particularly long.

Widespread Strikes: Circles the opponent with afterimages and unleashes a devastating combo.
Face Blitz: Dash forward and grab the opponent by their face to slam them around.
