Maze Simulator: A beginner’s guide

Maze Simulator is a clicker-style Roblox experience, where you must raise your intelligence by rapidly clicking the Left Mouse Button to navigate the maze. This experience lets you develop your IQ stat through Books and Pets, both of which are the cornerstones of the progression system. Aim to be the smartest person in the world and reach the other end of the maze in this title.

Here’s a complete beginner’s guide to help you navigate the labyrinths of Maze Simulator.

As just established, Maze Simulator is about navigating the featured maze to clear the world and advance to newer heights of intelligence. Its main stat that governs how far you reach is IQ, which can be improved with the Left Mouse Button. The faster you tap the button, the quicker your IQ increases.

To reiterate, the rate of IQ growth is determined by Books and Pets. Books are the primary gear that you will always be on the lookout for, as they dictate the amount of IQ you gain per click. On the other hand, Pets apply a multiplier to the stat given by Books, making them secondary, but effective.

Your IQ continues to deplete while in the maze. If it runs out, you will be sent back to the beginning. The gist of it is to reach the other side before your brain power runs out to advance forth into the next world. Note that the IQ depletion isn’t permanent and is restored to its original value the moment you exit the puzzle.

  • Maze navigation: The main objective of the game is to cross the maze that separates your current world from the next one. Crossing over requires you to temporarily spend IQ points, giving each labyrinth a designated IQ threshold that must be surpassed. Raise your IQ through clicks and try to reach a new zenith of intelligence to reach as many worlds as you can.
  • Books: Books are the primary source of IQ in the game and can be earned naturally by progression through the maze. The game expects you to prematurely attempt crossing the puzzle with insufficient IQ; upon crossing certain milestones in the maze, you will automatically unlock the tomes. Each book has a designated IQ-per-click value that overrides your previous one, making every upgrade a meaningful substitution rather than an addition.
  • Pets: Pets are passive boosts to your IQ gain that can be obtained through Cash. Cash can be collected in a number of ways, from maze navigation to battle pass, and more. Each world has a set of eggs segregated by price; the higher the cost, the rarer and more impactful the pet.
  • Trails: You can spend Cash to acquire Trails, which improve your movement speed by a set percentage. This can be quite helpful for crossing the labyrinth before your IQ runs out.
  • Relics: Relics are gear pieces unlocked in the second world, which apply stat buffs based on the unlocked slot. You can access up to five free Relic slots and three premium ones, which can make a massive difference in your performance.
  • In-game Shop: The in-game Shop offers various premium items that can increase your IQ growth to the maximum. These products include exclusive Pets, Books, and more, effectively reducing the grind required for each world significantly.
