Horror Tower Defense Update 3 overview
The Update 3 in this Roblox title was released on November 22, 2024. It's one of the most awaited patches, as the developers have been teasing it for months. The most talked about feature in Update 3 is the new Traits system. Traits are abilities that grant your unit certain stat boosts, enhancing their overall strength.
In the beginning, though, your existing units won't have any Traits so you will have to roll for it. This can be done near the summoning counter by paying Crystals. Just so you know, Crystals is exclusive to rerolling Traits, and you can find it by completing various stages.
Apart from Traits, the Unit Sacrifice is another highlight of Update 3. By using this feature, you can fuse nine of the same units for a chance to get the exact unit of higher rarity. For example, if you fuse nine Legendary units, you may get lucky and get a Mythic unit. In case the fusion fails, all of your selected units will automatically be sold at half price.
Finally, two new units, called Foxy and Mr.X, have been added to the roster. You can obtain both of them from the summoning banner and purchase them using Coin (in-game currency). There's only a 0.1% chance that you will get the Foxy. On the other hand, Mr.X has a random chance of obtainment as it is a Secret unit.
There were also a few bugs that were fixed by the developers so you can enjoy seamless gameplay.
