Roblox Anime Realms creator allegedly scammed by potential buyer, loses control over Discord Server
Anime Realms, one of the most popular experiences on Roblox, was reportedly stolen by an alleged scammer. It is an extremely shocking event for the community because this title was released less than a month ago. Sadly, it has become a nightmare for Luckk, the original developer of the game, as he has also lost control over his Discord Server of 180K+ players. Apparently, Luckk has multiple screenshots that have heightened the drama. While this is a matter of concern, players can't help but raise questions regarding both the seller's and buyer's actions.

The scam with Anime Realms - Explained
As tweeted by Luckk on X (formerly Twitter), he had signed an $850K USD deal with a user called Topgokay. When asked about the transfer of funds, Topgokay sent him a wire reference number. After believing the authenticity of the wire reference, Luckk not only transferred ownership of Anime Realms and Roblox group but also gave away his Discord Server. This has proved to be a fatal move because the server had over 180K members with thousands of active players.
According to Luckk, Topgokay constantly avoided his texts when asked about proof of bank transactions. When things went south, the original owner took it to X and posted the screenshots. You can check out the tweet below.
Luckk mentioned that Topgokay immediately used the massive community of the Discord Server to get verified. He organized a giveaway as well but only for players who would follow his Instagram handles. Unsurprisingly, Luckk seems to be frustrated after reportedly losing everything he owned related to Anime Realms.

On the other hand, the whole story sounds very different from Topgokay's perspective. Topgokay took it to Discord to claim that $55K from $850K would be used to pay the rest of the developers. However, one of the developers, Alan, said that he has not been paid by Luckk yet. Long story short, the new owner believes that Luckk has received the payment but is trying to exploit him for some monetary benefits.
The conclusion to this controversial debate between Luckk and Topgokay is still pending. However, it's crystal clear that the game will keep on working without any interruptions. In fact, it is still receiving updates and new codes.
