Pets Go is a pet collection Roblox experience where you can roll for different types of pets and receive Coins. Its newest game mode is Fishing, which lets you obtain unique items from treasure chests at the beach area. Fishing in Pets Go can be unlocked through the Upgrades menu. Here’s the quickest path to the Fishing node in the aforementioned menu:

The Fishing node requires you to spend 200,000 Coins, which is a hefty amount for a beginner but takes little time if you’ve progressed far enough. Purchasing the path opens up a wealth of new nodes, like Fishing Rods, Treasure Chests, and more, that can only be unlocked with Fishing Tokens.

After unlocking the Fishing node, you can visit the beach area and start exploring a sea of Fishing Tokens and Treasure Chests.

Fishing rods

Upon unlocking Fishing, you will only have access to the Rusty Rod, a low-tier fishing rod that offers no special attributes. With enough Coins, you can obtain the following fishing rods from the upgrade tree by purchasing the relevant Rod Upgrade nodes:

Sturdy Fishing Rod
Stone Fishing Rod
Iron Fishing Rod

Bait

Another node on the Upgrades menu will unlock the Fishing Merchant, who sells different types of bait that help you fish better items. The merchant can be upgraded twice more to increase the number of item slots up to six, giving you access to the best items.

Treasure Chests are items that you fish by going to the beach area and interacting with the beacon. Chests include various useful items that can help you roll rare pets or simply skins for your hoverboard. The rarity of the item you get depends on the Treasure Chest you unlock.
