Roblox Winter Spotlight: Sonic Speed Simulator guide

Sonic Speed Simulator, the platformer adventure title featuring the iconic hedgehog, is among the experiences highlighted in the Roblox Winter Spotlight event. The Sonic-themed game includes two quests that can be completed to earn the event-exclusive WINTER SPOTLIGHT TOKEN and ELITE TOKEN. You can use the former to claim UGC, while the latter can be collected for a grand prize.

The missions for this experience are fairly simple: collect 1,000 Rings for the regular Token and deliver gifts for its Elite counterpart. Here’s a detailed guide on how to finish both objectives and add the event-exclusive tokens to your collection.

For a comprehensive list of all the event games and their Token quests, check out our Winter Spotlight guide.

Claiming the regular Token in Sonic Speed Simulator requires you to collect 1,000 RINGS in any ZONE. This makes the mission accessible to all players regardless of their prior experience with the game. Simply run around the map and pick up the golden Rings found nearly everywhere.

A good way to speed up the process is to obtain CHAOS. CHAOS are pet-like creatures that accompany you and give your stats or RING collection a hefty bonus. While the quest requires you to obtain 1,000 individual RINGS and is not affected by the CHAO multiplier, the passive stat bonuses are worth it.

CHAOS will help you access other boosters with their bonuses, such as TRAILS, which can further increase your dashing speed. You can equip up to three of these pets at once to maximize the stat bonuses.

After completing the normal Token quest, you can access the Elite Token mission. This objective is as easy as the regular Token one, in that you must deliver 100 PRESENTS to obtain the event-specific collectible.

PRESENTS spawn on the map after obtaining the regular Token, which can be picked up by walking into them. You can hold up to five gift boxes at once, which must then be delivered to the designated area: the Christmas Tree. The game will direct you towards it the moment you pick up a PRESENT.

The Elite Token requires 100 PRESENTS to be delivered, but you can obtain other rewards along the way. These freebies are listed below:

  • 10 PRESENTS delivered: 100 RED STAR RINGS
  • 50 PRESENTS delivered: 200 RED STAR RINGS
  • 100 PRESENTS delivered: 300 RED STAR RINGS and 1x Elite Token
  • 250 PRESENTS delivered: 400 RED STAR RINGS
  • 500 PRESENTS delivered: ASTRAL RIDER MOTORBIKE
