Shonen Unleashed Cosmetics Guide: How to Get Skins, Death Effects, Emotes, & Titles

Shonen Unleashed is an anime-inspired title on Roblox that offers players tons of multiplayer fun. Obtaining cosmetics like skins, effects and emotes is a must for all the fighters in the game. Many Robloxians wish to learn how to obtain cosmetics, and this guide acts as a compass by covering the basics, and also provides some tips that may come in handy.

A beginner's guide to obtaining cosmetics in Shonen Unleashed

Navigating to the Skins Menu

To reach the cosmetics and customization menu, Robloxians will have to complete an entire game of either team deathmatch or free-for-all to be able to access the in-game menu during the intermission, and every player is just taking a stroll. When in intermission, players must simply press the M button to access the menu above and then click on the desired tab.

To equip any cosmetic item that gamers may have purchased, including but not limited to numerous character skins and character paths, players must click on the Characters tab inside the in-game menu. Here, they can also see their amassed cash and tokens in the top-right corner.

Obtaining Skins

When in the intermission, Robloxians can go up to the Picolo NPC and press E to access the Skin Shop, where they can choose to summon a skin in either one of four categories, including Regular, Specific, Unique and even Token Summons. Skins for characters can be obtained by spending cash or tokens amassed by taking out players on the battlefield and completing quests.

Here are the particulars of each Summons category in Shonen Unleashed at the moment:

  • Regular summons: Summoning a character in this category will reward the player with a random skin for a character they've already unlocked.
  • Specific summons: Skins in this category rotate on a daily basis and reward players with a random skin of a particular character regardless of them being unlocked or not.
  • Unique summons: Spinning for skins in this category is slightly more beneficial as it will always give Robloxians a skin they don’t own yet. The only catch is that they won't be able to obtain any legendary skins from here.
  • Token summons: Token spins are the most costly and the most rewarding as they let players use tokens to get a skin for a random character, similar to the likes of regular summons, but with double the chance of getting rare and legendary skins.

Obtaining Emotes and other Cosmetics

The cosmetics menu is the place where gamers can equip each and every cosmetic item they've acquired, including emotes (like the Torture Dance and the Rickroll emote) they can purchase from Joseph NPC, who is situated at the entrance of the casual lobby. He offers 12 different emotes every 90 minutes. Each emote costs 500 cash, and gamers can purchase each only once.

They can also unlock numerous death effects (like the Ragdoll and the Confetti effect) by talking to the Sukuna NPC, which gamers can find in the casual lobby surrounded by gold and jewels. Players can spend 1000 cash to roll a random death effect, but a crucial thing to note is that they can get the same effect they've previously unlocked.

Robloxians can also equip titles (like Hidden Strength and Titan Slayer) from here by reaching level 20 with a particular character path and by completing specific achievements. Some titles in the game are unlocked by leveling up, while most can only be unlocked by competing in the ranked mode. Some exclusive titles can also be obtained after defeating specific players like game devs, too.
