Breaking down Santa’s Workshop map in Toilet Tower Defense
Overview
Santa’s Workshop is a Christmas-themed map that features holiday-appropriate enemies. It offers two difficulty levels: Easy and Hard. In Easy mode, players must survive 40 waves of enemies — while Hard mode ups the challenge with 50 waves.
There are a few quirks of this stage that make it more challenging than other levels. The first is its size, which is rather short compared to other maps. Because of this, the enemies can reach your home base very quickly — causing a swift defeat if you aren’t careful.
Secondly, the Hard variant of the stage has a unique gimmick that randomly freezes your units. This effect applies every five waves — which can quickly get annoying — as the frozen towers can’t perform actions in this state. While they will thaw out after five waves, it can turn the tide against you during the later waves.
If you manage to overcome the odds, you will receive 200 Candy Canes for clearing Hard mode, while Easy mode gives you 100 Canes. Candy Canes can be used at the Event Shop for exclusive units and other prizes.

Recommended units
The Easy mode can be cleared rather easily with Rare or higher rarity units. You can beat the stage comfortably with towers like Turkey TV Man, making it accessible to all players.
For Hard mode, you will need some of the most powerful units that you can quickly upgrade if necessary. The ideal way to work around the random freezing effect is to sell the frozen unit and replace it with another of the same kind. If the upgrade cost of said unit is low, you won’t have to worry about frozen units at all.
Here are a few sample units that can clear Santa’s Workshop on Hard mode:
- Green Laser Cameraman: Low deployment cost; applies Slow to enemies.
- Scientist Drillman: Cash farming unit.
- Frozen Speakerman: Deals splash damage; applies Slow to enemies.
- Mage Cameraman: Applies Slow and Poison to enemies; deals splash damage.
- Bass Microphone Man: AoE damage unit; applies Slow to enemies.
These units inflict the status ailment Slow upon the advancing foes, reducing their movement speed and giving your towers time to take them down. This will be immensely helpful, particularly if the most useful units happen to be frozen at any point.
