Tower Defense Simulator Molten rework guide

Tower Defense Simulator has you tackle waves of enemies and push back against them by placing various units along their path. With patch version 1.45.0, this Roblox experience has implemented a complete rework of the Molten mode. The rework rebalances the stage, adds new models, and has different unlock requirements than its earlier version.

Here’s everything you need to know about the new Molten mode in Tower Defense Simulator.

The Molten mode has been given a complete overhaul with update v1.45.0, bringing new elements specific to this game mode. Players can unlock the mode at level 15, with no secondary access requirements. The mode grants 750 Coins and 186 Exp as rewards when cleared.

One of the biggest changes from its predecessor is that the rework rebalances the stage to make it more challenging. The enemies are stronger and more belligerent, leaving you no quarter in their approach. You must adapt quickly and use your units to fend off these enemy waves before their assault is successful.

In total, the game mode has 35 waves with a new boss at the very end: the Molten Warlord. This enemy is quite strong and can pierce through your defenses if you become complacent. As such, it’s important to keep your towers fully upgraded to halt their advances.

You can optionally turn on a new Molten Corpse modifier, which causes defeated enemies to respawn as idle statues. These enemies must be eliminated as well, as they are nothing more than distractions that cause your units to focus their attacks away from the tougher foes.

Note that the previous version of the Molten mode has also been reworked into Casual mode, making for a laid-back gameplay experience.

Clearing the reworked Molten mode

While challenging, the Molten rework does not make it the most difficult mode in the game. It is more difficult than the Intermediate mode, but less so than the Fallen mode. As such, any mid to end-game build can comfortably clear the level and allow you to secure the rewards.

The Molten Warlord is a part of the mode's rework and existed in the previous iteration as the Molten Boss. With a massive HP pool of 132,000, this foe can be quite difficult to deal with, especially if your loadout is not damage-centered.

So, we recommend building a team of high DPS towers that can shower the advancing forces with damage. Units like Cowboy, Military Base, and Pursuit can summarily defeat most opposing forces in the stage, particularly with support units like Medic in tow.

It is possible to clear the mode without requiring the rarest and the most powerful towers in the game. So, bring your best loadout and tackle the Molten enemies in fierce combat to earn your rewards.
