The Molten mode rework has been implemented into the game with the latest update, reconfiguring it to be a more challenging and satisfying experience.

Molten retains the number of enemy waves of its predecessor, but it now poses more of a challenge than Intermediate while being less punishing than Fallen. The rebalancing makes the game mode a challenge that keeps you on your toes without demanding the best units in the game. It also adds the brand-new Molten Corpse modifier that revives fallen enemies as blacked-out statues.

The old Molten mode has been replaced with the Casual mode, which comes with 30 enemy waves and is unlocked from the very start. This mode is a less intense gameplay experience that is more challenging than Easy but presents less of a threat to your home base than Intermediate.

Further reworks, additions, and changes have been teased for the coming update, which are expected to arrive on December 16, 2024.
