At its core, Untitled Alien Game is an action game where you test your combat skills against other players. This game is reminiscent of battlegrounds style experiences like The Strongest Battlegrounds, which share a similar premise. You are given control of an avatar who can use different transformations in combat to access several movesets.

The title lets you pick a transformation at your leisure, placing no restrictions on the choices it offers. You can select from a cast of colorful aliens, all of whom possess three to four special moves in addition to a normal attack string. Each character has a unique stat spread and moveset, making them stand out from the rest of the roster.

Currently, the game is in the alpha stage of development and only offers the Public Test mode to play around in. This means everything currently in place in the experience is subject to change.

Gameplay mechanics

Battlegrounds-style gameplay: Upon loading into the game, you will be placed on an open map with limited destructibility, where you can change forms and battle other players. In a gameplay style reminiscent of battlegrounds-style experiences, you can fight endlessly with other Robloxians, honing your skills and testing each other’s battle styles. You can respawn immediately when defeated, making it an endless combat experience.
Public Test mode: Currently, the Public Test is the only game mode in the experience. You can only access a small selection of aliens while in this mode, and the selection of maps is limited to one. Combat is fully functional, but bugs are to be expected considering the early stage of development.
Aliens: You can use the Open Omnitrix option to view the different aliens in the icon next to the HP bar. With the desired alien highlighted, you can transform by pressing T. This will give you access to a brand-new moveset, amplifying your attack power and giving you new abilities based on the selected character. Once transformed, the white bar underneath the red HP bar will continuously deplete, reverting you back to the base when fully emptied. You can transform back immediately once the white bar refills.
Skills: Upon transforming into an alien, you gain access to up to four different skills. These are special moves that deal high damage and can be used as combo starters or enders. When used, these moves enter a cooldown state during which they cannot be used again. This preserves the balance of the game, making it so players cannot use the same powerful move repeatedly for an easy win.
Character customization: There is a detailed avatar customization system in place, which can be accessed from the main menu. You can choose from various presets to alter your eyes, hair, Omnitrix type, and more. These options can be altered at any time, making it a quick and easy way to change up your appearance.
