Specifications:
Heel height: 28mm
Toe height: 20mm
Heel-to-toe drop: 8mm
Ultra Boost ST is true to its size and offers a snug fit. There is minimal irritation and the shoe will adapt really well with your feet. A size 9 men’s shoe weighs around 329g; not the lightest running shoe in market though. This premium running shoe offers good support and is ideal for road running.
Currently, the Ultra Boost ST is available in three colorways. Nothing fancy here, Adidas chose simple yet modern styling with these running shoes. These will blend seamlessly with the crowd and is ideal for people who believe in subtlety. Taking about subtlety, Adidas made sure that all the elements work really well when it comes to the design of the shoe (great attention to detail). Along with the regular version, Adidas also released Ultra Boost ST Glow running shoes that house reflective material for better nighttime visibility.
Coming to the upper, we see Adidas’s revolutionary Primeknit upper (yes, it is the same material that we see in football boots such as Adidas Ace 16+ GTI) that adapts and moves with your foot flawlessly. An external heel counter wraps your heel and allows for a much better lockdown, ultimately offering much better heel support.
In the midsole, we see Adidas’s top-class cushioning system. The game-changing BOOST system covers the midsole, offering a much more stable and responsive ride. The BOOST technology offers almost 20% more energy return when compared with other running shoes available in the market right now. Torsion System in the midfoot area allows for a much more natural foot movement. This thermoplastic unit also ensures that your forefoot and the rearfoot can move independently; ultimately, giving you a top ride.
Adidas introduced a stretch web that is similar to what we can see on the Ultra Boost. Everyone strike the ground differently and the stretch web adapts faultlessly. Experience much more feedback with your every step for the stretch web virtually moves in every direction.
Not only that, you will experience even greater energy return with Ultra Boost ST. Thanks to the BOOST technology. Continental rubber on the outsole offers exceptional durability. You can comfortably clock over 500km with these shoes. The outsole also ensures that you get optimal grip in both wet and dry conditions.
Adidas Ultra Boost running shoes feel great; the Ultra Boost ST takes it a step further. These shoes adapt really well to your feet and offers added stability. If you are on the hunt for a premium running shoe, then the Ultra Boost ST is for you.
Adidas Ultra Boost ST retails at $180 i.e., around 12,000INR. Availability in India is TBA.
Bottom-line: Ultimate in luxurious stability.
