Mumbai 10K Intercity Run on December 30

Mumbai, Dec 28 (PTI) The Mumbai 10K Intercity Run will be held on December 30 and the event will see participation from people of various age groups - from teenagers to senior citizens.

The run has been conceptualised by Olympian Anand Menezes and so far it has been held in Pune and Hyderabad, a media release issued here said Friday.

The run, accredited by the Maharashtra Athletics Association, will see runners participating in various categories like 10 km, 5 km and 2km.

The 10K Run will have categories like open men and women, veteran - men and women, super veteran - men & women along with a 5km #FitTogether Run for couples and the future champions run (2 kms) for boys and girls in the age group of 12-16 years.

The 10km run will start from Bandra fort in suburban Mumbai, the release added
