Video: Bolt 'looking forward' to Diamond League Bislett games
Usain Bolt spoke on Tuesday ahead of competing in the 200-metres at the upcoming Diamond league meet in Oslo, Norway on Thursday.
Usain Bolt:
“Well definitely. It is definitely on my mind. I went to Training today and I am feeling pretty good. It is definitely something on my mind and I think I am in the shape to run on the sub-20 point (seconds), so I am looking forward to it. So, I am looking at the execution and getting it right so looking forward to it.”
Jaysuma Saidy Ndure
“It is the 200 (metres) so he is fast so I will try to get him (laughs) I have always tried. So, yeah – we will see.”
Usain Bolt:
“I never tried to single out one person, never. You never know who is going to step up. Tyson Gay has shown good form this season, Justin Gatlin has shown good form this season. I train with Johann Blake so I know what he is capable of and I know what he is capable of so I never try to single out one person. In track and field people get injured all the time and if I focus on one person – and he gets injured – then you have to change your focus and you not be ready for that other person . I just work hard and push my body to through the rigours of the day and be at my best when those seven person are lined up next to me so…that is always my focus.”
