Video: In port racing from the Tour de France a la Voile

The Tour de France a la Voile continues in Breskens, Holland on Tuesday.

Calm conditions greeted the sailors as the Tour de France a la Voile continued in Breskens, Holland on Tuesday.

Two coastal races took place on the eve of the second step towards offshore Dieppe.

The first race was won by Nicolas Troussel of team UK-Credit-Mutuel-Elite, the second by Daniel Souben of Courrier Dunkerque.

Both races sailed in light winds and strong currents between the polders and cargo ships of the river Scheldt delta, but the sailors were forced to master the changeable conditions.

In both cases, Franck Cammas and his crew of Groupama 34 M34 finished second and consolidated their leadership position in the overall standings.

Unusually, Cammas and his crew have not won everything in these two coastal races contested in the Scheldt estuary, as they struggled to get to grips with the sluggish winds.

Despite this, they remain in the overall lead of the Tour de France.

The fleet departs Breskens tomorrow at noon for the second leg offshore, the 142 nautical miles to Dieppe in Normandy.
