Lucie Safarova Vs Shuai Peng

Lucie Safarova is enjoying a great summer after reaching the semifinals at Wimbledon just over a month ago. She has reached the last 16 in New York for the first time in her career and will look to advance to the quarterfinals. Standing in her way though, is Shuai Peng of China, who has shown incredible form this week.

The Chinese girl took out Agnieszka Radwanska in the second round and followed it up by ousting Italian Roberta Vinci in the third round. 

The Czech enjoys a 4-1 lead over Peng in their 5 matches so far. 

It will be interesting to see if Peng continues her fine form to stop Safarova from reaching the last 8.  The match is scheduled on Grandstand court, not before 1:30 am IST.
