We all know the history between Shane McMahon and Vince McMahon. The father-son duo weren’t always on the same page, and had a heated rivalry more than a decade ago. Shane and Triple H also fought against each other several times in the past, and it would be relatively easy for WWE creative to pit Shane against his own blood.
One can imagine a scenario, either at the Royal Rumble or WWE Fastlane when The Authority, thanks to a returning Triple H would once again stack the odds against the current WWE World Heavyweight champion, Roman Reigns. Given’s Triple H’s rivalry with Shane McMahon, it would add more intrigue to the story if Shane ran down and saved Roman Reigns, aligning himself with the second generation superstar.
This would eventually lead to a match between Shane McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania, while Roman Reigns would headline the PPV against Brock Lesnar, providing the WWE Universe with two marquee matches at the grandest stage.
