Women have time and again proved that they are no less than men when it comes to being successful in sport. But, there are women out there who showed that being a mom and a top athlete at the same time is no big deal either!They create a perfect balance between their personal lives and the sport they love. Here are few mother athletes who made it into our list.

#5 Jenny Potter

Jenny Potter handles her duties as an athlete and a mother in a cool fashion. The Ice hockey veteran is a mother of two and that did not stop her from winning a gold medal in 1998, silver medal in 2002 and a bronze medal in 2006. 

She has been nicknamed “Mom” by her teammates. Her child Madison attends her games regularly. Potter played five-months into her pregnancy with two-year-old Cullen. She won the league championship and was named MVP for the 2008-09 season playing for the Minnesota Whitecaps. With the Minnesota Whitecaps, Potter was part of the first US-based team to win the Clarkson Cup.
