5 players who should play in the IPTL next year
The International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) got off to a spectacular start with top players entertaining tennis fans in Manila and Singapore during the first week of the tournament. However, few players could not be part of the inaugural season of the IPTL.Here is a list of 5 players who should play in the IPTL next year.
#1 Stanislas Wawrinka
After living in the shadow of the "big 4" (Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray) for a long time, Stanislas Wawrinka finally made a mark for himself after his Australian Open victory and a few other notable results in 2014.
Wawrinka's fan base has increased incredibly over the past few months and they would all love to see him in action in the second edition of the IPTL. His aggressive play and his hard-hitting forehands will suit the format of the league perfectly.
Wawrinka will look to add another Grand Slam in 2015 and try to overtake Federer as Swiss No. 1.
