The man that began full of promise as ‘The Next Big Thing’ has grown into a battle-tested warrior, a gladiator of epic proportions. Lesnar is the real deal on every level.Considering his resume, the fact is no one really has a prayer of topping him. There have been guys that drew more money than Brock and there have been guys that were more entertaining in the ring than Brock. But no one can do what Brock can do and no one has done what Brock has done. The Beast Incarnate is not just a nickname, it's who Lesnar is. The scary part is, he's not even done yet.
#5 Paul Heyman
The ability to know where to go and when as well as what to do when you get there, is possessed by the industry’s all-time greats. In the case of Brock Lesnar, this ability lies with his real-life best friend and actual advocate, Paul Heyman.
Heyman has been called the evil genius and with very good reason. The man that started a revolution with ECW is considered one of the smartest and most creatively gifted men to ever work in the business. But it’s his work with Brock that has made all the difference.
Without Heyman, Lesnar would arguably have never made the impact he did in WWE. Paul saw something in him and knew exactly how to channel that something into a very steady foundation. He crafted a future hall of fame Superstar on that foundation and fans all over the world recognize the work Heyman did in molding The Beast Incarnate.
No other Superstar can top Lesnar’s career because of the guidance and support he receives from the evil genius. Paul’s presence by Brock’s side and in his life cannot be replaced or mimicked by anyone else because there is only one Paul Heyman.
Unless Heyman himself takes a new protegee and maneuvers that man through an entire career, leading him to the promised land of WWE main event status and worldwide recognition, Lesnar’s legacy is likely very safe indeed.
