5 reasons why there will never be another Roger Federer
Federer thrived in a generation of superstarsRoger Federer has achieved what no one has ever achieved before: 18 Grand Slams. The number of Majors in his trophy cabinet is enough to set him apart from everyone, from any era.But here I will not give the case of Federer's records to make the argument that we will never see another Roger Federer. The Swiss star, apart from his Grand Slam total, has several other striking attributes that truely make him a one of a kind. Here are five reasons why there will never be another Roger Federer:
#5 Legend or just a simple guy?
Federer has been at the top of his profession for the most period of time. He has received love from his fans and fellows throughout his career, and has done it all with unmatched grace and humbleness.
It is quite common for a person as celebrated as Federer to let success get to his head. Tiger Woods, for example, lost his way in his personal and professional life. But when you look at Federer, you get the impression that underneath all the regal airs and trophies, he is a simple person.
He is father to two sets of twins, husband to a woman who is not a super model, travels with his family on tour, visits Disney World with his children just a day after losing in the finals, and always sports an affable, comforting smile.
Federer has no faults in his character, a unique thing that can be boasted of by very few stars across all sports.
