5 Reasons why WWE don't need CM Punk anymore
CM Punk walked out of WWE in a way which was least expected from most of his fans.He still had a few months left in his contract and the writers were also building storylines around him for WrestleMania. But dropping a pipe bomb into every ones heart, Punk just left a big void in the company. And the best part of about WWE is that the show must go on. They didnt slow down or drop down when Punk left the company. Instead, we saw some innovation and freshness into the product which slowly overshadowed the absence of the Straight edge superstar.Over the past few months WWE has proved to us that they dont need Punk to be a top gun in the business and here are five reasons why.
#5 NXT and other upcoming talents
The developmental territory of WWE has always produced some extra ordinary talents. The list includes names like John Cena, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and many others. And now that the Network is there, the latest version of development (NXT) has found its feet.
The NXT stars have gained more popularity with the exposure they got from the Network meaning that their promotion to the main roster is going to be easier than ever.
Along with that WWE has a string of names who could replace Punk in terms of in ring talent. There are name like Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Cesaro who are rising up the ranks and could well end up as the next Punk.
The only thing that will be missing will be the established name in the ring as the talent between the ropes can be molded again.
