5 WWE stars who disappointed us in 2015
Barrett’ career has been a topsy turvy rideNot everyone on WWE’s roster had a banner 2015. While Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins and John Cena continued to pave the way for success, there were plenty of wrestlers who underperformed, even disappointed because of potential, ability and fan support. This isn’t new. For every Steve Austin, there is a Charlie Cook or the Mulkey’s. And just because wrestlers are superstars on month, it does not mean they are on top of wrestling’s Mt. Rushmore the next. Wrestling really is a “what have you done for me lately business.”In any event, these wrestlers were major disappointments in 2015.
#1 Cody Rhodes
Whether he is the son of the late Dusty Rhodes or Stardust, there hasn’t been much excitement from the second generation wrestler. Now, Rhodes is nothing more than a cartoonish character who is one of the more talented performers on the roster.
His feud with Neville helped elevate the former NXT star and left Rhodes still searching for a true identity for this star. What happens in 2016 is anyone’s guess. I would love to see Rhodes become part of the tag team division or possible a true contender in the mid card.
