5 WWE Superstar returns that could make Payback better

The WWE has played all the possible cards they could to make the fans invest in Payback which happens to go down this Sunday. But apparently, apart from the top two bouts, the fans dont seem to be interested in the PPV as a whole.Injury of Daniel Bryan was the first thing which went against the WWE creative while the mid card titles failing to creative enough fuzz proved to the next. But the most frightening thing about Payback for WWE will be the fact that it is going to happen in Chicago. The fans are known to be extra vocal when it comes to criticism and if WWE fail impress them, its going to be a riot to say the least. One way in which WWE could cover up for their shortcomings will be to let some big return happen at the pay-per-view to overshadow whatever happened. So here is a look at the best option that WWE could consider.

#5 Ric Flair

It was evident last time that the WWE universe has a highly nostalgic place for Ric Flair in their hearts. And though WWE teased him aligning with the Evolution some time back, the fans didn’t get a chance to see that happen.

The latest rumors suggest that Ric Flair will be returning to manage Miz or Dolph Ziggler. If any of the three scenarios happen at Payback, the fans are surely going to enjoy that.

He was at the corner of his daughter at NXT Takeover and the way the fans reacted to Flair was the biggest sign that he still has it. Ric Flair being on television week in and week out will be a mouthwatering prospect and him locking horns with Paul Heyman will be a much bigger one.
