5 WWE Superstars Who Shine on the Mic
Vince McMahon certainly knows how to handle a microphone. As important as physical prowess is to a professional wrestling career, perhaps no factor is as key to getting over with the fans as microphone skills. Wrestlers that can work the mic can overcome other shortcomings, while those that struggle with promos are limited regardless of other talents. This list will focus on wrestlers, so guys like Paul Heyman aren't up for debate. That said, here's five guys who can mix itup with their words as well as their actions
#5 John Cena
Some fans might argue that Cena’s microphone act is as stale and predictable as his ring work, but that line of thinking is a bit biased. The fact remains that Cena can handle the mic as smoothly as anyone on the roster and manages to come up with humorous barbs despite his seemingly permanent face status.
Very few, if any, other faces on the WWE payroll can handle the job that Cena often does, speaking out for the WWE Universe and “good guys” a whole, which also explains why his promos come off as hokey or cheesy.
