5 WWE superstars with surprising medical conditions

Editor’s note: Hi Jeremy. The list needs to contain conditions and not injuries that happened along the course of the wrestler’s career. Try to add in Rock’s depression, Brock Lesnar’s Diverticulitis and so on (even Vince McMhaon has dyslexia). Edit Rollins and Orton out of the list and add in the changes. RegardsInjuries are part of professional wrestling, but that doesn’t mean they’re always expected. The risk for injury is an obvious part of professional wrestling.Even in a standard match on television, men are jumping onto each other from various heights and being slammed and bent in ways that are meant to hurt. When you add in the various hardcore scenarios that pop up, medical issues become even more of a possibility.Still, several WWE superstars have managed to develop conditions or came into the sport with existing conditions, that might surprise fans. Here are a few of them, in no particular order.

#1 Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion until he injured his knee a few weeks back.

So everyone in the WWE Universe is aware of what happened to Seth Rollins. Further, a knee injury is hardly a wacky ailment for a performer like Seth Rollins to suffer, so there’s no surprise there.

What makes this particular condition a surprise are the circumstances surrounding the injury. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion was wrestling a live event, also known as a house show, in a match against Kane, not his next challenger, Roman Reigns. During this match, which wasn’t going to help him prepare for a pay-per-view show, he performed a pretty risky move and got hurt.

So what comes as a bit of a shock is that the “future of the company” would be put in such a position or allow himself to get hurt in such a manner.
