The tournament will be played in the UAE between 4 February and 23 February next year with Dubai and Sharjah being the two venues. The five teams which will be participating in the PSL represent five major cities of the country – Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. Some big names from Pakistan cricket as well as those from other countries will be taking part in the tournament.Out of the entire PSL roster, 5 cricketers have been chosen to become brand ambassadors for the respective franchises that will pick them in the players draft. Let’s take a look at who they are:
#5 Shoaib Malik
Shoaib Malik is a man who can do nothing wrong at the moment and the Pakistan Super League seems to have come about at just the perfect time for him. Malik is going to be one of the 5 brand ambassadors of the PSL and will represent the team which chooses him in the playes draft.
The experienced Pakistani allrounder has performed exceptionally in international cricket this year and it would be great for the tournament if he can carry forward this form to its inaugural season. It will be interesting to see Shoaib Malik pitted against some of his Pakistan teammates.
