The T20 World Cup is here and everyone will be looking forward to some great matches between the best cricketing nations. There are megastars in the game on whom there will be a lot of expectations to perform in the tournament and also there will be few names who will etch their name in the history of the game. But before the main round of the tournament begins, there is a qualifying round between eight nations.A lot of pressure will be on the players from these teams because only two from these eight will qualify for the main round. Sabbir Rahman is one of the promising young talents in the ever increasing cupboard of talented Bangladeshi batsmen. His exploits in the recently concluded Asia Cup have shot him into the limelight and he will be surely one of the players to look out for in the upcoming qualifying stage of the T20 World Cup.
His innings against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup was testimony to the talent he possesses. His shots were as clean as a whistle and his innings ensured that Bangladesh clinched their first T20 win against the islanders.
Conditions in India are not much different to the ones in Bangladesh and his team will have their hopes set high on Rahman to come good in the tournament. If he keeps on batting at the number three slot then there are chances that we could see another batting masterclass from him in the World Cup qualifying round.
