#5 Changes galore for Team India
Wholesale team changes is not something that you would associate with MS Dhoni. But, he threw a surprise today by making three changes to the playing XI. The one that was discussed by fans and experts for a long time was his decision to drop Ajinkya Rahane.
It’s no secret that Rahane hasn’t been so consistent at number 4, and Dhoni has been reluctant to change the opening combination. Hence, he decided to drop Rahane and bring in Rayudu, a move that failed since the Mumbai Indians batsman got out for a duck.
He also decided to play three spinners, as Axar Patel replaced Mohit Sharma. And then, Umesh Yadav made way for Dhawal Kulkarni.
