#10 Adel Taarabt

Nationality: Moroccan

FIFA 16 Rating: 79

Club: Benfica

Position: Central attacking midfielder

The ex-Spurs midfielder Adel Taarabt recently joined Portuguese Champions Benfica on a 5-year deal from the recently relegated club QPR. He was rated as the ‘genius’ on a football pitch by the former QPR manager Jim Magilton for the brilliant solo goal he scored by dribbling past three players and curling a shot into top corner in a Championship game.

The 26-year old midfielder came into limelight when he joined the Championship side Queens Park Rangers in 2009. He proved to be a big bargain player for QPR as he went on to score 19 goals in 44 league appearances that season for the West London club.

With Taarabt’s unpredictable skill and reputation for never giving the opposition defence an easy 90 minutes, he went on to win the Championship Player of The Year award and gained a place in the Championship's best XI.
