After having started his career as a teen at Varsovia, Robert Lewandowski gradually made his way to the Polish top division where he helped his team Lech Poznan win the 2009-10 championship with 18 goals to his name.From then on there was no looking back for the Polish striker as he went on to join German giants Borussia Dortmund. He had a key role to play in leading the club to a Bundesliga and DFB Cup double in the 2011/2012 season.It was evident that he was a proper goal scoring striker as was proved by his four goal haul against Real Madrid in the semifinals of last year's UEFA Champions League.
