Best and Worst players on Day 7: 2014 FIFA World Cup

We present to you the best and worst players of day 7.Games played Australia 2-3Netherlands Spain 0-2Chile Cameroon 0-4Croatia

#1 Goalkeeper

Chile Keeper Bravo (L) and Cameroon Keeper Itandje (R)

Best Goalkeeper-  Claudio Bravo (Chile)

The Chilean goalkeeper and captain did a very good job in keeping the likes of Costa, Torres , Xavi and Iniesta from scoring anything which would have jeopardised Chile’s chance of advancing into the next round. Though the spanish themselves were to be blamed for their lacklustre performance, Bravo who remained alert right through the 90 minutes ensured that it was the South Americans who emerged as winners.

Worst Goalkeeper- Charles Itandje (Cameroon)

Itandje looked clueless right through the game and  Cameroon having a bad day in the office with Alexandre Song being sent off and Samuel Eto’o absent with a bit of tension witnessed between Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Song the negativity certainly made an impact on the 31 year old and Cameroon crashed out of the World Cup.
