After 2 international fixtures, club football once again returned to the fore and there were some really intriguing clashes across Europe. With the new edition of the Champions League just around the corner, players are all geared up to participate in the annual megaevent.However, this past week, there were a few who caught the eye with their exquisite displays in their respective domestic leagues. #5 Shinji Kagawa

 

After 2 unsuccessful seasons at Manchester United, Shinji Kagawa returned to Germany for his second spell at Borussia Dortmund and made sure he returned with a bang as he was on the scoresheet in his side’s 3-1 win over Freiburg.

The Japenese international was involved in the opening game as he bypassed the Freiburg defense with a through ball to Grosskreutz who cut the ball across goal for Ramos to stab home the first of the night. Following a neat passing move, Ramos crossed from the right and after Henrikh Mkhitaryan dummied the ball, Kagawa accurately buried the ball in the bottom corner from just inside the area to extend the lead. 

The crowd went berserk on seeing their returning hero score who would have been very happy to have made a successful return to the Bundesliga.
